Animated music videos are a great way to provide a unique looking promotional tool for your sonic enterprise and are a cost effective way of executing grand ideas that wouldn't be possible with a live shoot. LYRIC VIDEOS

​For the bargain minded - these may be what you're looking for. I can bring your heartfelt/incendiary/dingbat words to life as per the examples below. These videos typically fall in the range of AU$200-$300 per minute of animation. The final price will depend on the amount of extra elements around the animated words. We can discuss your requirements.

CHARACTER ANIMATION

These videos feature multiple characters, sets, sequences and effects. As a one man operation, I am able to streamline the animation process and get a professional, eye popping result on a reasonable budget. What is reasonable you ask? If you are like most musicians it's probably a lot more than you think - AU$1100 inc GST per minute of completed animation. If you have just dropped your bong in disbelief, now is the time to tell you an average 3 minute song takes me about 5-6 weeks to turn around. If you do the maths you'll realise these things are a labour of love for me, rather than my ticket to early retirement. Given you are a musician I'll assume you are intimately familiar with this notion already. So if money is tight, the shorter the song the better - or alternatively consider a short 45-60 sec animated trailer to your entire album.

I need a fair amount of autonomy to make this timeline work so assume the finished product will be in the style of the stuff I've done before.

HYBRID VIDEOS

If the character animation option is too exy but you want something a bit fancier than a lyric video the Hybrid might be for you! As the name suggests, these are videos that combine the humble lyric video with the character animation video. There are less sets, characters and complex interactions than full character animation videos but there are more than just words on an animated background. The price of these are pretty fluid and the best way to accomodate a specific budget in between the above options. Email me to discuss!
